Abstract

This article analyzes the psychology of the mother figure in Shin Kyong-suk’s Protecting My Mother in Your Care and O‘tkir Hoshimov’s The Affairs of the World. The study examines the role of the mother in raising her children, her inner emotional world, psychological struggles, and her relationship with society. Furthermore, it compares the approaches of the two writers in portraying the mother figure and considers her interaction with both the internal and external environment. The results of the study show that Shin Kyong-suk’s work pays more attention to the mother’s internal psychological states, while O‘tkir Hoshimov emphasizes the mother’s role in the social and cultural context.
