Abstract
This article examines the prospects for tourism sector development as a strategic mechanism for ensuring regional economic stability, analyzing international evidence from 2018-2024 on tourism's contribution to economic diversification, employment generation, foreign exchange earnings, and sustainable regional development, while identifying policy frameworks and institutional mechanisms that maximize tourism's stabilizing effects.
