Abstract
This article examines the life and historical significance of Kutlug Nigor Khan, the mother of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur, the founder of the Great Babur Empire. The princess was the daughter of Yunus Khan, the governor of Tashkent, and is considered the thirteenth descendant of Genghis Khan. Since 1475, the princess, who was married to Umar Sheikh Mirza, the governor of Fergana ulus, did not leave her son Babur during his wanderings after the tragic death of her husband, and withstood the most difficult trials during the struggle for the throne.
